Shizuko

      PMA® certified, Konnector® practitoner, classical Pilates based instructor, Shizuko has been teaching Pilates since 2005.

      The first encounter with Pilates was when she was studying Dance Education in New York University. She was interested in Dance Therapy and decided to pursue therapeutic elements in dance and Body-Mind connection in movements. After graduating from school, Shizuko became a Pilates and Gyrokinesis practitioner.  When she met Pilates masters in classical Pilates, Susan Moran, Bob Liekens, Shari Berkowiz, and Carrie Campbell, her style was settled and decided to be certified as a Classical Pilates instructor.

      Shizuko moved to Canada in 2013. Her ambition goes beyond Pilates and got certification as Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant, then helping senior population.  Still her journey continues with Pilates.
